🎀 What It Takes To Be A Blogger 🎀
Hey, Dolls!
So, I get asked a lot of questions about what it takes to be a YouTuber or a blogger. I'm not even well known, or that big! I love being able to help others and let them know what I know. I started all of this on my own, with really no help. Everything I knew about being a YouTuber & a Blogger, I learned from doing research on Google & YouTube! Later on, though, I learned more on my own & also met some people along the way, who were nice enough to help me, as well! I have came up with a few tips & ideas in this post to help those of you who may have some questions.

I will be focousing more on the blogging part of the two. Most tips & ideas could play into the YouTube part, there just may be more / different tips, so please keep that in mind. I may do another post for the YouTube section.

🎀 What Content Is Your Blog / Channel Going To Feature? 🎀
It is very important to consider what type of content you're going to produce. You have many catagories to choose from, (Gaming, Cooking, Music, Beauty, Fashion, Crafts, News,..) just be sure to mostly stick to that. You really don't want too much randomness going on with your videos or posts. It would also be very smart to pick something that you know about or are passionate about. I picked Beauty, Fahion, & Lifestyle, because I knew that I had a passion for that, I knew I had some tips to share, someone to teach, & of course, it's about as girly as it gets. I also added in the lifestyle part because I wanted to do advice, tips, & other things girls need in everyday life! So, as you can see, I have a girly theme going on.
🎀 Make Your Channel / Blog Page 🎀
Now that you have decided what type of content you are going for, it's time to set up your YouTube Channel and/ or Blog page. I enjoy using blogspot for my blog page, but, there are MANY different sites to use. You just have to research some sites & find the right one for you!
TIPS: Decorate your page acording to your content theme. Make everything easy to see & find! Add links to any other pages / sites you may have. Always add an about me & photos! Don't forget your disclaimers!!
🎀 Naming Your Brand 🎀
After you have set up your channel / page, you're going to have to use an username! Your username should represent your brand. So, Pick a name that ties in with your content! If you're going with cute / girly content, pick a cute / girly name!
TIP: Also try to keep all of your pages & social media under the same name. It'll make it easier for your followers to remember! The more they see that name, the more they'll tink of you!
🎀 Producing Your Content 🎀
Now that you have your content ideas & your user / brand name, it's time to fill your channel / page with content!

For Blogging : You will need to stay up to date with the content you decided to post about. Keep a notebook of ideas for posts with in your catagory, for brain storms of posts you're working on, & for any thing else that will help you keep up.
Make sure you are consitant with your uploads & posts. Post a few times a week, but not back to back! Give your posts / uploads time to be seen!
Make sure your posts are easy to read. Make sure to be informative, but, not too much reading for your followers!
Also make sure to use correct grammer & spelling!
TIPS: If you're going to post videos / pictures with your posts, make sure they are good quality with good lighting. Make sure your background/workspace is clean, clear, & bright. Edit & brighten photos / videos if needed, also, add any needed filters. Make sure to add a water mark to your work / photos you took / videos you've made.
🎀 Uploading Content 🎀
Okay, so now that you have filmed and/or wrote your content, it's time to upload your video or publish your post! The main things that you'll need is a computer & acess to the internet, everything you write / film should be saved to your computer, this way you can keep a record. You'll also need a computer with some sort of note pad, for writing your blog posts, & for editing videos, & also to have access to your blog page / YouTube channel! When uploading your content, make sure you title it correctly & add in keywords / tags. Also, include any links that you may need.
🎀 What To Do Next 🎀
Now that your content is uploaded, your next step is to wait.
Make sure to stay up to date with comments, respond to your viewers / readers. Stay up to date with your stats. Check any links you have included, to make sure that they still work.
Okay, Loves, So that's pretty much the basics of being a blogger! Just remember to stay motivated & positive! It may take a while before you start to see any traffic, but, keep going!
